Bonnie Sen Photography creates classic imagery inspired by the timeless architecture of Washington, D.C. Join us for this two day workshop in the nations capital which will be packed with information about how to build your network, work with industry leading wedding planners, plan your own styled shoots, create a vision for your business and stand out from the crowd.
This Washington, D.C. workshop will involve two highly detailed styled shoots to help boost your portfolio and you can watch and participate as we style and shoot these on film and digital and talk about the benefits of being a hybrid photographer. The workshop is limited to 8 attendees.

Bonnie is the mastermind behind all the photos and her background as an architect helps her obsess about the details, framing and horizon lines of every single photograph. She has been photographing weddings, portraits and families locally and internationally for the better part of a decade. She has been published widely, and energetically looks forward to every single future photograph.
We believe in the power and permanence of an image. We believe that a well-crafted photograph can speak the volumes that words often cannot fill. Our goal is to create lifelong, heirloom imagery that speaks to generations to come.

Tom is a photographer and also runs all the operations for BSP. He will be on site producing the workshop and also will speak about our some of our secret-sauce sales and marketing process.
Naomi is an experienced stylist and producer who will make sure the workshop experience is a rewarding one for attendees. As an ex-event planner she will also help with styling.
Sophie & her team are going to be the exclusive florists for the workshop and will bring all their new and creative ideas to our effort. They are highly sought after florists in D.C. and we are so excited to have them!
Melissa is a regional sales manager for LaTavola Fine linens, leading linen rental company nationwide. She will speak about business development and keeping your relationships fresh.
Bonnie is leading the workshop and will talk extensively about how she jumped into the deep end of shooting weddings on film in the East Coast and within 5 years grew to be an established name in the competitive Washington, DC Market.
An established wedding stylist and planner known for her clean and classic aesthetic, Julie will style a series of cutting edge photoshoots that will feature lots of color, compoistion and art.
Bonnie is leading the workshop and will talk extensively about how she jumped into the deep end of shooting weddings on film in the East Coast and quickly grew to be an established name in the competitive Washington, DC Market.

the meridian house
Meridian House is a residential jewel, designed by renowned architect John Russell Pope, who designed the Jefferson Memorial, the National Gallery of Art (West Building) and the National Archives. In 1929, Meridian House was described by Architectural Forum as:
"Perhaps as fine a piece of work of its kind as this country can show... Certainly the manner of this house has not in this country been better done, not only in terms of stylistic authenticity, but in terms of pure architecture, meaning good taste in selectivity, in elimination, in execution. It cannot from its nature do otherwise than set a standard which should endure permanently."

Meridian House will serve as the backdrop for second day's classes and full day of photoshoot. The house is a very popular location for weddings given the variety of indoor and outdoor locations like the library, Linden grove, ballroom, gardens and front facade. It is a personal favorite location in Washington, D.C.
